You Do You!
While weddings revolve around tradition and family, they’re also about celebrating your relationship with memories that will last a lifetime. Some of the most unforgettable wedding memories are fun surprises, planned or otherwise, that the guests and wedding party will be talking about for years to come! From flash mobs to drag racing cars, there are so many fun, light-hearted ways that you can personalize your wedding day.
Heres just a couple that we hope will spark those creative juices:
- A Family And Friend Photo Wall
- RSVPs are in, but not everyone on your list can make it. There’s still a way to make it feel like they’re there on your special day—a photo wall. When  sending RSVPs—or after receiving regrets—request images from those who can’t attend to print and hang. Whether you decide to display the photo wall at the ceremony or reception, this can also honor any late loved ones who you wish could be there.Â
- Leave a Shoe Note
The “shoe note†is a little love note or poem that you write on the bottom of your partner’s wedding shoes. This note may not last until the end of the night—especially if the dance floor is popping—but it’s a fun and unique way to remind your partner that you love them before you say “I doâ€. Try writing it on the bottom of their shoe, or leave a tiny card inside of it, and get ready for happy tears!
Weddings can be overwhelming. Between calling caterers, scheduling dress fittings, and tasting cakes (our personal favorite), personalizing your ceremony and reception can fall through the cracks.
Take the time to select personal touches that will make your ceremony and reception a true representation of you as a couple. After all, these wedding ideas are all about celebrating your new life together as a married couple.
Cheers!
